Wright J-5 Whirlwind R-790 aircraft engine

Wright R-790 / J-5 Whirlwind was a series of nine-cylinder air-cooled radial aircraft engines built by Wright Aeronautical Corporation, with a total displacement of about 790 cubic inches (12.9 L) and around 200 horsepower (150 kW). These engines were the earliest members of the Wright Whirlwind engine family. On May 21st 1927, Charles A. Lindbergh stunned the world by flying solo and non-stop from New York to Paris in an airplane powered by a single Wright J-5 Whirlwind engine. To accomplish this, the engine had to run continuously for over 33 hours. The astounding thing is that only five years before, no successful air-cooled engine even existed in the United States.

Wow! That looks like a very promising project. On the other hand, the distance between an accurately designed digital file and a 3D printed aircraft model kit as an actual object composed of multi parts to be assembled later and become a well shaped and realistic miniature under 1/32 or 1/48 scale... is not short.

Anyway, I really hope for the best result and looking forward for your news, considering that - as far as I know - the IAR CV.11 is not available under any scale in market
    .

thank you, it is a hard job, indeed ,especially when there is very little information, as is the case for IAR airplanes more so for the early prototypes. I have decided to wright this wrong, and model all of them and then make them available as a kit at 1/32 with pilot and engine and at 1/48 in both variants.
I have seen you shop amazing work hats off to you M :)

Gnome 7 Omega rotary WWI era aircraft engine

The Gnome 7 Omega was a French seven-cylinder air-cooled rotary engine, designed by Laurent and Louis Seguin and made by the Societe Des Moteurs Gnome & Rhone in Paris and others under licence. It was shown at the Paris Aero Salon held in December 1908 and was first flown in 1909. It was one of the earliest commercially successful aero engines and was used by many early aircrafts. It produced 50 horsepower (37 kW) from its capacity of 8 litres (488 cubic inches).

The Gnome 7 Omega rotary engine miniature item is/are available in many scales & sizes, 3D printed with Frosted Detail plastic material for best quality result. Offered as individual or multi-items pack for a scale diorama display scene alongside with same scale figures or other aircraft & vehicles.

Hello. Impressive works guys. I've watched your works also on other channels - forums, facebook, etc. Please find below some of my prints. IAR 16 in 1/72 scale, it was printed as separate parts for a resin model ans Coanda 1910 in 1/48, also print for a resin model.

Clerget 9B 130Hp WWI era aircraft engine

The Clerget 9B was a nine-cylinder air-cooled rotary aircraft engine of the World War I era designed by Pierre Clerget, with a total displacement of about 994.08 cubic inches (16.29 L) and around 130 horsepower (96.94 kW). Manufactured in both France and Great Britain (Gwynnes Limited), it was used on such aircraft as the WWI-era Sopwith Camel biplane. The Clerget 9Bf was an increased stroke version. The miniature is available at 1/15 scale, at 1/16 scale and 1/18 scale sizes.

Also, more parts & accessories are available for scale modelers interested to build a high-detailed WWI-era Sopwith Camel biplane miniature. For example, the wire wheels or the mounting plate for Clerget 9B engine.

    Wallis WA-116 Agile autogyro

Wallis WA-116 is a British autogyro developed in the early 1960s by former RAF Wing Commander Ken Wallis. The aircraft was produced in a number of variants, one of which, nicknamed "Little Nellie", was flown in the 1967 James Bond 007 film "You Only Live Twice".

The autogyro miniature model is available in 1/16 or 1/18 scale, 3D printed with Frosted Detail plastic material for best quality result. Great idea for a scale diorama display scene alongside with same scale figures or other aircraft & vehicles.

    Boeing AH-64 Apache detailed rotorhead

The Boeing AH-64 Apache is an twin-turboshaft attack helicopter with a tailwheel-type landing gear arrangement and a tandem cockpit for a crew of two.

This kit contains all necessary parts (3D printed with Frosted Detail plastic material for best quality result) for assembling ONE AH-64 Apache helicopter rotor head at 1/48 or 1/32 scale, to be used as an upgrade part on same scale & type helicopter miniature and make a fine diorama display. Great idea for a scale diorama display scene.

Instytucie Szybownictwa IS-A Salamandra 53 glider

Founded on 1935 by Waclaw Czerwinski, the WWS - Wojskowe Warsztaty Szybowcowe (meaning "Military Gliding Workshop" in Polish language) were based in Krakow, Poland. The WWS-1 Salamandra was a single-seat training glider designed and built in Poland from 1936 and again from 1947 after WWII as Instytucie Szybownictwa IS-A Salamandra. The glider had excellent flying characteristics, so that it was decided very quickly to take over in mass production in various workshops throughout Poland. Before the WWII, the Salamandra glider was also built under license in Yugoslavia and after 1943, the Salamandra was also produced in Romania. After the WWII, the production started again with a re-engineered version made from the "IS" which is an abbreviation of Instytucie Szybownictwa (meaning "Gliding Institute" in Polish language), under the name Warszawa IS-A Salamandra. During the 1950ies, the Salamandra glider has been built in China, where a two-seater version was also created. Around 500 Salamandra gliders have been built around the World, up to date.

    MBDA Aerospatiale ASMP-A missile

The ASMP - Air Sol Moyenne Portée is a French made nuclear medium-range air-launched cruise missile. In French nuclear doctrine it is called a "pre-strategic" weapon, the last-resort warning shot prior to a full-scale employment of strategic nuclear weapons. The missile's construction was contracted to Aérospatiale's Tactical Missile Division, now part of MBDA. ASMP entered service in May 1986, replacing the earlier free-fall AN-22 bomb on France's Dassault Mirage IV aircraft and the AN-52 bomb on Dassault Super Étendard. About 84 weapons are stockpiled. Carrier aircraft are the Dassault Mirage 2000N, Rafale and Super Étendard. The Mirage IVP carried the ASMP until retired in 1996. Warhead was a single 300 kiloton TN 81 for ASMP, and a single 300 kiloton Airborne Nuclear Warhead TNA for ASMP-A. In 1991, 90 missiles and 80 warheads were reported to have been produced. By the year 2001, 60 were operational.

This kit contains all necessary parts (3D printed with Frosted Detail plastic material for best quality result) for assembling MBDA Aerospatiale ASMP-A missile at 1/32 or 1/72 or 1/144 scales, to be used as an upgrade part on same scale Dassault Mirage 2000N/D nuclear strike aircraft miniatures (for example the 1/32 scale Mirage 2000D/N model by KittyHawk) and build a fine display. Great idea for a scale diorama scene.
