Corexy, Is It Really All That??

  1. I'm thinking about my next printer design. I'm going to make a cube machine, and I've heard all of this about how coreXY is so great but all I see is miles of belt loop and no real advantage over Cartesian machines. Can anyone explain how CoreXY is better and doesn't suffer from belt stretch over the half mile of belt needed to make it work?
(Also after my successful prusa clone I'm gunning to build a sub $200 cube machine using a 32 bit board that is quite enough to use in the home. So anyone interested in starting a github and seriously buying parts and getting started let me know via pm)
