So i am trying to print this model in stainless steel, but after it had gone into production i received a message that it has weak geometry and needs a structure to hold it up for printing. Can anyone help me in how to do it? And how will shapeways know that it is only a temporary structure? Much appreciated!
check the rules of the material you chose and then do something more realizable! The size is about 4x4mm !!! and the thickness is toooooooooooooooooo small
Which material ? Must be either the "steel" or the "sandstone" I guess - the dreaded "sandcastle rule" caused by the brittle intermediate state the model goes through in these processes ? (And anything you are going to add as support is permanent as far as shapeways is concerned, you would have to remove it yourself)
