    Hi Shapeways fans,

Shapeways recently introduced a new material: HP Jet Fusion. Here is a video of the unboxing of the parts of Simple Slide made in this material.

These are my conclusions so far.
-The pieces came out extremely clean. No excess powder.
-The pieces came out pitch black. Good for twisty puzzles.
-The pieces came out smooth. Hardly any breaking in needed.
-The price is similar to the other strong & flexible materials.
Over all well suited for twisty puzzles, I would say.

One minus point: I wish the price could be lower ...

How to order in HP fusion material? It doesn't appear as an option in my models!!

Hey @Oskar_van_Deventer ! what a wonderful video and thanks for the kind words

It seems like the tolerances were spot on- did you find that was not the case with regular SF materials?

    Hi Adrew,

The issue with regular WSF is the powdery residue over the surface. Twisty Puzzles made in this material require "breaking in" to scratch of the powdery residy and smoothen the surface. WSFP is not better, as the polishing beads do not get inside the grooves used in twisty puzzles. So this was my first 3D-printed puzzle ever that needed hardly any breaking in.

The tolerances are the same for BhpSF as WSF and WSFP.

It looks great! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. The video is a nice addition to see the material better. I'm interested to get my own print in as well to compare with the SF and Metallic plastics.

Hi Oskar, Thanks for the video, it does look nice.
I just placed my first order in this. Waiting....
How thick were the wires in your cage?

Hey, Oscar! Nice video & report.
Could you comment on the comparison in surface finish between regular S&F and the HP version, please?
Of particular interest, though not the only concern, is the new product similarly porous?

Very nice, thanks for the video and the nice introduction. Can you maybe make a picture of the bottom side of the printed cage? All my parts are curved on the bottom side and have rough edges. Your parts look much better.

    greetings
