2d To 3d Problem: High-res Art Looks Like Crap

    That says it all. Properly done, high-quality line art looks like a jaggedy mess, and I have no idea how to fix it.

    This particular project is a time-sensitive thing, so I have no time to wrestle with the appalling learning curve of software like Blender. I just need some advice. Help!

    Can you tell what you tried so far (i.e. which of the "2d to 3d" apps here on the site did you try) and/or show a simple example (that shows the problem without revealing much if anything of your actual artwork) ?

    The 2D to 3D conversion software I'm familiar used the 2D source as a height field. High resolution line art could produce something like you describe with such software.
