    Couple of questions:

What can I do to insure paint adhesion?

Additionally, is there anything I can do to insure ALL the wax support material has been removed?

Does acetone attack the Frosted Ultra plastic?

I wash FUD parts in common white spirit. If necessary run a brush through any hard-to-reach regions to remove remaining wax.

After washing, use an acrylic paint. Enamels don't work well on bare FUD.

I'd have to check my notes on acetone, but IIRC it didn't help much.

  3. Be aware that max 4 minutes in white spirit is enough. If you do it longer, even 5 minutes, thin parts will warp.

This may be a dumb question, but what is white spirit & where can I find it?

Thanks for the response, never heard the term (white spirit) sounds simple now.
