Both of these should work with Shapeways, see attached. The file had numerous errors. I needed to load it into
DesignSpark (Free version of SpaceClaim) and delete some bad spiky looking triangles before I could use other software to get it fixed up. I used
Netfabb (Free even after the 30 days is up) and
Microsoft 3D Tools cloud service (Free) to fix it. Take a close look and make sure everything is perfect after you upload to Shapeways. The Microsoft version is just one shell so it's perfect. The Netfabb version has numerous shells which may or may not cause problems with Shapeways. The reason I provided both files is I wanted to give you a second option just in case you looked and saw something wrong with the geometry.
I know nothing about Rhino, however, in the future, if there is a way to weld all of the vertices that are very close to each other and yet not treated as single vertices this may help make your polygonal exports watertight.
If any Rhino masters happen to see this can you describe what you do to make your exports look perfect?
