Is PLA water resistant?

I drew a soap dish and although it's thin and only
2 1/2" inches x 4" inches, it seems the cheapest material to craft it out of.

still estimates to be $12.45 using this material...

PLA should be good. It's no porous like WSF.

Hmmm....guess it's not a viable product then.....too costly.

Too bad Shapeways doesn't have NinjaFlex.

That looks like it would be fun to clean. $12.45 sounds like a deal for that labor.

Guess I'm out of touch on pricing, what people would pay.
