If it weren't for your suggestion after the Baserunner project I don't think this would have gotten started.
Originally the scope was much smaller, just something that looked cool and original, and also more affordable but still large enough to pack in good details. Compared to the Baserunner which ran over 500$ to print and several weeks to complete, this is more accessible at ~100$ and a weekend to finish. Larger than life sci-fi vehicles have always been something I liked, then looking around the shops here I saw many WWII military models. Put the two together, a dieselpunk tank was inevitable. As I worked on the first iteration other ideas came up, like interchangeable components so people can mix and match to make their own version. And the scope expanded to include multiple factions: Soviet Union, Germany, France, British, and US; drawing inspiration to various WW2 themed online games like World of Tanks and War Thunder.
At the moment there's not overarching world for these toys, other than something cool to have on the desk at work or at home. They are roughly 1:144 scale so they could work in some table top game settings perhaps, though people would have to create their own rules. Table top game is a possibility though I'm not very familiar with that industry. A video games maybe since that's more my background.
