Badges And Bling

    In my latest package I got some steel and plastic - badges featuring initials of my long time online gaming guild, and a pendant doodle for adding rhinestones to. Without further ado:

    The badge in stainless steel, partly polished:

    I'll omit the white sfp painted silver.

    And here we have orange sfp, painted gold, and stainless somewhat polished, both with rhinestone crystals added.

    I polished the steel with thin diamond files.

    wow so cool! is the first one set with Green SF!?

    Also, how did you attach the stones? Did you use stone setting glue? what kind of tolerance did you add into the model to make sure they fit so perfectly!?

    Yup, green strong and flexible, and stone glue yes. The tolerance is only 0.1 mm, which worked for the polished plastic, but was too little for steel - the stones at that size aren't properly in, but with enough glue or slightly smaller stone it works.
