Surfacing advices for S&F Plastics

    I used generous spray paint as basecoat, then 2 coats of base acrylic paint thinned with little water, cheap stuff. wash, then brushed with paint straight from tube. I was concerned with lights shining through the plastic at unwanted areas. You probably won't need as much.

    next model I'll try straight to thinned acrylic paints, alternating layers of bae color and wash/stains till I build up the colors I want, dry brush at the end.

    beyond paints some judicious sanding with mid/high grit sandpaper might help too.
