Garland Vent Clerestory Roof HO
sbhunterca @prrfan53 Thanks for this- good catch! The model was correctly scaled, but something strange must have happened in the upload... the difference wasn't metric conversion. I have updated the file and the sizing now displays correctly. It's less expensive too... :-)
CNR General Service Gondola HO Scale 124750-124999
sbhunterca @thbguy@thbguy@thbguy At some point I might do these in N, but I'm of two minds about it. The HO model is near minimum printing thicknesses in many areas but is fully printable. In N, I'd have to lose a tremendous amount of detail. Simply rescaling won't work for N, a total redraw with lots of compromises would be needed. Leave it with me... at some point I may suffer a moment of weakness and do one in N!

CP GP-7 GP-9 Pilot Blocks X 6 HO 9mm
sbhunterca @pacbelt That's great!
sbhunterca @pacbelt Hi, I don't have an Athearn shell to measure, so I can't tell for sure. If you measure between the footboards on the Athearn shell, though, you could tell which of my pilot blocks is closest- I have 7 mm (.276") and 9 mm (.354") widths. A simple bit of styrene could be added to snug up the fit, or the width can be sanded or filed down to create a perfect fit. I hope this helps!

Raised Panel 40 ft Boxcar Roof O Scale
sbhunterca @benscaro Hi.Ben: Adapting the part to TT was a success. There were only a few of the very fine details that needed to be increased a bit to maintain the minimum allowable wall thicknesses and feature sizes. It's still very finely detailed. You can find the part here: http://www.shapeways.com/product/3F5BQGG6G/steel-boxcar-roof-tt-1-120-scale?li=shop-results&optionId=57860697 Thanks! Steve
sbhunterca @benscaro Hi, Ben: I'll give it a go and see how the roof translates into TT... with any luck we won't end up having to make any of the detailing too thick. I'll be in touch! Steve

sbhunterca Thanks for your note! Usually manufacturers are left wondering about how their products worked out for their customers- it's awesome to hear they worked well! If you take any photos of your car, I'd love to see how they look on it! Steve
