Will it reprice the new models released since October? It surely has to to maintain consistency.

This is a self contradictory statement. It cannot be correct and then state the contrary.

I'm only interested in FUD.
The FUD algorithm is being revised as it has a fault.
This algorithm (un-revised) has been used since October 22.
What will the "revised" algorithm, when you finally release it, do to prices created since October 22.

I think you read replace when I said reprice.

Will this result in a refund for orders placed if there is a significant price drop?

Thanks for verifying the change in FUD pricing will affect all minis. We appreciate that, as will (I hope) our customers.

A quick query - since the changes, I have a couple of identical test models that I have used to benchmark the pricing changes since the announcement. Recently, I have noticed that two identical, non-grandfathered models have been showing different prices so I uploaded the file again to check and it has given another price. Have all models now been updated to the new pricing structure?

I noticed last night that about half of the prices showing on the store page for the default material were the old prices. The prices on the individual product pages were the new updated prices. It seemed like the product pages had to be viewed or edited to make the new prices stick on the store page.

There was another repricing in December, I canceled a project Dec. 6 due to excessive cost, the pricing having pushed the unit price into the negative. The price hike seems to have rolled back to Nov. 22 levels. as of today.

@avim: Any word on when the repricing will become active for grandfathered models in Detail Plastic (nee FUD)? Has it happened already? It has been almost a month since the repricing went live for all other materials. It is hard for me to spot pricing inconsistencies when I do not know if I am looking at a still-grandfathered model or a new-priced model or something in between.

Hi railNscale,

We will be making a system update on Wednesday, March 6, to improve the accuracy of our instant quoting platform. With this update, a small percentage of models will see a price change due to a revised calculation on number of parts*.

The following models that you’ve previously ordered will be affected:

after all discussions regarding new pricing algorythms, the need for clear information, etc. this kind of 'communication' does not really help.

Please provide old price - new price overview.

Well, I just checked some kits. Strangely enough not all the models mentioned in the mail were changed in price. Other models however appeared to be affected. And yes, prices go up by more than an acceptable bit.

So SW: you have been messing up things since your new CEO appeared. As mentioned before, with this kind of service there is absolutely no way I will be able to work around your daily changes.

You fail to inform, you fail to provide service, your pricing levels are too high, your quality improvement too little. I am sorry, but my activities at SW will slowly come to a stand still.
