TBS Discovery Brushless Gimbal
torix The sensor for this HK gimball controller is a bit too big to fit the slot on your camera frame but I found a solution by cutting the rear 'leg' and slid it in as seen on the photo. Maybe I'll just cut off the holder entirely and just use a double sided pad to fix it later.
torix I'm using this one:
torix One more suggestion Nate - could it be a thought to make the record button a bit more accessible? Not actually a problem as is but it could be a nice touch to the design.
torix @rawshark The TBS standoffs slide in by hand - no need for tools.
torix @Nate711 The bearing width = 12mm Outer diameter of hollow shaft = 6mm The axle is sticking up 2mm from the back plate of the motor. The clip does not extend beyond the bearing width so if the hole is made 12mm it will rotate freely. Do not hesitate contacting me for further details. Will consider purchasing the updated model :-)
torix Just purchased and built this one. Generally happy with the quality but it needed some modifications to fit the T-Motors (link below). The diameter of the holes needed to be increased as the center axle of the motor extend outside of the back plate. In addition there should be space for the C-clip to move freely. My suggestion is to to modify the design so that the hole on [on the motor back plate side] is increased to the same diameter as the bearing and for about 3mm inwards. I used these :
