I should of done it a lot sooner, I finally grinded down the corner bit for the bottle cap opener. I removed as much material as I could before it effect the screwdriver tip part. It helps slightly, but still doesn't make for a good opener without risk of breaking the glass. The problem is that where it hits is right at the edge of other side of the bottle rim, so it puts a lot of pressure there. If you look at other bottle openers, you'll see how the fulcrum is more before the edge of the bottle, like 3/4, which helps bend the cap. I think your new design work probably work. Have you ever tested it? If it did, I'd try it out. Though I don't think I'd pay full price for it again.
