About Me

I run ScannerWorks NY, a small business providing 3D laser and structured light scanning services in the New York area. I'm a visual artist with an MFA in Art & Technology Studies from SAIC. I have battled with 3D scanning and printing in my own work for over ten years, and I started ScannerWorks to help simplify the sometimes baffling world of digital fabrication for other artists and designers. I have scanned surfboards, sculptors' maquettes, chairs, meditation stools, toy prototypes, models, celebrities and more. I can scan people, and most items from 1" to 4' and up. I also consult on 3D printing and digital fabrication.
