Trussed 123mm Micro FPV Quadcopter Frame
siliconsys Looks great. What do the straight front arms do different than an X layout? I've seen a lot of frames doing that lately while some of my older ones are the reverse. Is the top deck strong enough for a battery and rubber bands or is underneath the best option? What is the deck length nose to tail?

113mm Micro FPV Quadcopter Frame
siliconsys @PaulLA Both of those look great. Having space for the combo camera makes it a nice quick build. Do you know the max battery dimensions inside the ultralight frame? Let me know when you post the new trussed one. I'll definitely try a few of those.
siliconsys Here's a photo of the latest build with FPV. It was a tight fit, but this layout seemed to work the best for me. I've since shortened the camera wires and antenna after trying the video board above the FC. The extra forward weight better balances the 500mah battery (45 x 20 x 8.5mm) hanging out of the back. Current flight time is about 4.00-4.30 minutes. There is a Venom 800mah battery (54 x 23 x 8.5 mm) that is only slightly larger than the generic 500's I use. Is there any room to make the battery slot wider without adding too much extra weight?
siliconsys Still relatively strong, though another full speed frontal impact there will likely shear off that motor. Overall it's a super solid, nearly unbreakable frame for a micro. With a Scisky controller if flies like a Ducati in the air. Perfectly balanced. I ordered two more.
siliconsys Great micro frame. After 90+ flights, 7.5hrs total airtime and a few dozen trees head on, we finally had a failure. Check out the cell near the motor on the front left arm.
