(Armada) Super Star Destroyer Executor (3 PARTS)
OmniJackal @packdich Yep it's all FUD. My prints have ranged from softer white opaque to harder yellowish translucent. The only thing that makes everything look the same is an alcohol bath. Different stages of UV curing?
OmniJackal @Mel_Miniatures Here's the evidence I sent to Shapeways.
OmniJackal @Mel_Miniatures I see it just a tad bit differently. While we are both designers, we work with 3d files, not physical printed forms. If Shapeways refuses to replace this model then they are acknowledging that any time you order from Shapeways your model may arrive looking differently than the render which means that buying models on Shapeways is a gamble. Neither of us could have anticipated the model would do this because I've never worked with a hollow this large before and I am assuming you haven't either which is why I don't blame you. It's funny because there's a disclaimer at the top where we were all worried about the seams lining up and it turns out the seams line up perfectly where model is sufficiently rigid. Only the aft portion of the middle hull section had an issue. I am uploading the video evidence I recorded for the Shapeways manager to Youtube so you can see it better.
OmniJackal @Mel_Miniatures Shapeways is saying they don't see anything wrong with the model. Shapeways is saying that the model they sent me looks just like the render. I sent you the same pictures I sent them. The middle section is clearly crushed. I just sent them a video trying to spell it out for them. If they refuse to replace this I'm closing up my shop and quitting this company for good. The damage to the model isn't your fault or my fault. It shipped to me like that which means that either a Shapeways employee didn't see the damage upon inspection (unacceptable), saw the damage and sent it anyway (unacceptable), or the damage occurred naturally while in transit to my home. None of us could have anticipated that the cavity was too large. Well, maybe Shapeways could have, but they didn't.
(Armada) Lucrehulk Star Destroyer
OmniJackal Red and it's gonna have royal ties guarding it. Think I'm gonna call it Imperator class since that name is no longer in use. Basecoat down.

Epic Scale Space Marine Hunter Tank (PACK OF 4)
OmniJackal About 2mm too long. Tank looks massive next to even larger marine tanks like land raider or vindicator.

6mm ThunderSquak Gunship
OmniJackal @javelin98 That'll do the trick but it's time consuming. My method involves a 5-10 minute bath in 91% isopropyl alcohol and then a gentle scrub with a soft toothbrush while submerged. After that a bath of hot water and lavender foamy hand soap which cleans it perfectly and gets rid of the smell of the 3d prints :p.
