Twisty Spindle Dice Set with Decader
muirgein Bought these recently. Very cool dice. I don't think I'll be using them in my games though. A couple things... The design is very solid, but several of the dice don't sit with one number obviously up; mostly the 20 suffer from this ambiguity in final result number. I know this is because the "twist" in the design - a detail I found appealing - makes you choose whether to take the result based on resting at the center or the end. The design of the 8 is also a little off in that its noticeably smaller along its long axis than the 4 or 6. The printing also suffered some problems. Every dice has a single side where the pebbled-surface finishing (I bought matte bronzed steel) wasn't applied completely as if the dice weren't moved during finish application. So 4/5 on the design, 4/5 on the printing. Overall happy with the purchase!
