Micro arcade cabinet
mikerealohs @ DIYgizmo Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I'm still having some issues with Shapeways printing the extracted lid part from your initial model. They placed an order for the missing lid from that model and it just got cancelled... I also got a email response from their production/service department team stating that it was because of the sprue connecting the back plate and cabinet lid. I'd like to encourage you to load the previous model with the other lid, as I sincerely think it's a superior part that allows users to easily access the cabinet's music volume controls, and just omit the sprue and tell them internally that the order is constituted from 3 parts instead as 2. Without getting too inside basebally, I know it's a cost vs benefit calculation on your part, and that you're trying to keep your prices as low as possible; but what's a few more bucks on a already close to $100 3D printed model?... I'd happily pay up to $100 for the model, especially if it meant that I didn't need to have to deal with all of this hastle... Maybe you could add more beefier sprues to that last model, or a contiguous piece of connecting plastic that users will just have to cut off and update the Instructables instruction, if you're really hung up on buyers price? I don't know, just my 2 cents...
