Merivo @fpa76 Well, from what I can see, the centre cogs are fairly deep, you could extend them further (or add an inner cog) for lower numbers, and flatten for higher numbers. I think you could also get away with marginally different rod thicknesses. I don't know what design program you're using, but I'm sure some of them come with a centre of mass calculator. I understand you wouldn't be able to make it perfectly balanced, but close is close enough :) A potential alternative although this would be unusual, would be to have the 6 opposite the 5, the 2 opposite the 1, and the 3 opposite the 4. That would mean the corner weight deviation would be ~3 cogs rather than ~9. You could then play around with rotations to point the cogs in the direction of the lighter corner. If my very basic calculations are correct, the deviation could then be reduced to ~1-2 cogs. All of this just by changing which sides are next to which. Something to consider :P
Merivo Is the weight distribution balanced in this die? It doesn't look it. It looks like it'll tend towards putting 6 at the bottom and 1 at the top.. Are the cogs different thicknesses, or the rods? If it were balanced I wouldn't hesitate to buy it, it looks fantastic.

Merivo Really need a coloured version of this. None of the other companion cube dice on shapeways appeal to me, but this one really needs colour.
