kattinger I see that I have hurt your feeling and you chose only to see the critique and not that I stated that it is a terrific model. Which all the more makes it so tiresome to have to break it up in order to paint it properly. I did see it on the website but since these "pictures are computer renderings and no photos of the actual model", as they state, you never can be sure. Also, i am used to trouble as models do brake or otherwise necessitate reworking, thus I took the chance. What I completely failed to understand is, what your idea was. You took an effort to build it and have it produced, and you decided to sell it, for money. Thus you must have had an idea what buyers would want it for - just place it in a vitrine like that, in translucent plastic? Finally, also a good advice from me: it is usually more productive to accept critique rather than trying to put the blame back on the critic.
kattinger Oh God, what makes a presumably thinking person do a terrible thing like that: produce a beautiful model of the Pegaso forest fire fighting appliance but completely enclose the cabin, and not producing the roof as a separate piece. Who would want a model like this and not paint it, including the cabin interior? I thus had to cut open the cabin, of course damaging the thing in the process and losing some struts which i will have to remodel from Evergreen items. Why taking the effort of constructing such a terrific model, and then prevent it from being useful???

kattinger Would be a nice model. But the "white strong and flexible" material is shit, like styrofoam. Does not make a decent scale model because the surface will never do without sanding off all the details. "Slight grainy feel" does not say enough by far and it is utterly useless to offer a scale model in such a material. A pity I spent 15 .83 on this.
