1/43 Chassis Cox / Beetle
ersandesign I know 1/43 is standard scale and 1/64 is not. I think a company like "Kyosho" or Tomica that produces standard 1/64 vehicles would be interested in your 1/64 chassis. On the other hand, if you designed a set of realistic wheels for 1/64 scale collectors of Matchbox, Hot Wheels, and Majorette would buy them to replace their toy tires. There is a market for 1/64 tires.
ersandesign 1/43 is standard scale so, I think there is a good market for that. I ordered Testors 1/43 kits for their chassis. If you keep 1/43 chassis people will buy them. But, keep doing 1/64, too. That is not a standard scale but the cars look great as 2.5 - 3 inch models.
ersandesign if you made more of these chassis in 64 and 43 scale, it could turn people's diecast collections into museum grade models. i am thinking lesney bettle, tomica porsche 911, etc.
Chassis Cox 1302 / Beetle 1302 (3 inches)
ersandesign You know, I think I will order all three. Also, I would suggest you design "realistic" wheels like 1/64 greenlight or 1/64 kyosho. You could turn this into a business ! 1/64 scale collector's are a big community and they want to upgrade their models with precision using aftermarket parts like yours. Lesney, Norev, Siku, Tomica, Majorette, etc., etc. There are millions of them traded on ebay right now.
ersandesign did you try this with a norev bettle body?

1:160 N Scale Peterbilt 379 Tandem Straight Truck
ersandesign did you sand or file the f.u.d. printed cab before painting it (tamiya spray?)? If so, did you use diamond needle files or sanding sticks? Also, can you post a detailed closeup of the cab to help prospective buyers to want to find out how satisfying the smoothness is. I appreciate you creating unique models that are unavailable in mass produced styrene:)
