I ordered, and received, 2 pieces from you.
The above, floor piece, and the "hold wall".
Now, as I understood in the item description, it would be a bit grainy because I did not purchase it in high detail.
Unfortunately the pieces were so grainy that after an attempt at sending starting with a fine grit, the tendency for them was to look even more pockmarked and visually worse.
So, I tried to prime them to see if it would smooth out the surface any more. That only succeeded in making their finishes very murky looking because it absorbed some of the primer coat into the material.
On the whole wall specifically, you can actually see the layers of material in the rounded part. Seriously, it looks like a topographical map of Nevada.
I have been going back and forth between customer service at Shapeways with no luck. First they tried to blame my high expectations then they would ask for specific order numbers and product numbers in no less than 2 separate rounds of back and forth emails.
Can you step in here?
I'm jammed up in my build and can't move on until I figure this mess out.
