Shield Guardian
bigtony8120 @DMGuy Not to butt in, but sounds like the print didn't adhere to the bed and just globbed out plastic. That could be a lot of different things, and you say it is happening when doing this small footprint model but not when you do big tiles, that is probably because in the big footprint model the plastic has time to cool before being tugged on. Your nozzle might be a tiny bit too high, or your temp could be too low (PLA melts at 190, but I have found I get much high quality out of 210, but I have a different machine, so trial and error that thing until it works) Regardless, it should have little to do with the model and a lot to do with the dozens of tiny variables. That is 3D printing in a nutshell.

bigtony8120 Yeah, the paint looks terrible up close, but he really did turn out great. At about "arms length" he is perfect.
bigtony8120 Perfect mini for the happy go lucky schmuck who is about to get sucked to Ravenloft in Curse of Strahd. Thanks for all the work you do.

bigtony8120 I will probably put this models mushroom cap on it, will look great.
bigtony8120 Not to criticize such a wonderful model, but isn't this actually based on a picture of Sovereign Basidia? Yestabrod is described as a larva who doesn't resemble a myconid much anymore. Again, its a great model, I just thought it was more aptly named as a Myconid Sovereign.

bigtony8120 Cura lets you do this as well, just right click the model and select split into parts.

Purple Worm
bigtony8120 I just used Cura's "split object" feature, worked well.

bigtony8120 This was a easy model to print for me, and was the biggest mini I had printed until I printed your purple worm. I used a translucent PLA and stuck the guts from a cheap flickering electric tea light in the bottom, here is a 10 second video of it in action.

bigtony8120 @mz4250 You, sir, are a gentlemen and a scholar! I am running my first session of Out of the Abyss tomorrow and I have been printing every monster from the random encounter table for weeks using your designs. This is a really good looking model.
