Rarity My Little Pony (6in Tall)
SFABrianHarris @balesh_m Existing designs that were approved during the program are allowed to stay for sale, but no new designs are officially accepted anymore. Uploading a larger version of an existing design might be okay. As for pricing, nothing I can do about what Shapeways charges for the cost to print, it's the same for me as anyone that uploads a model. For each size, I use Zbrush to hollow the model out with the minimum wall thickness to get the best price. I also keep my markup low. I'll look into it today if I have a chance, but I'm facing crunch time on a current project.
SFABrianHarris @balesh_m Based on the limitations of the printing area for this color material, a rough estimate is that Rarity can be up to 9.8 inches tall, while Spike can be up to 7.87inch tall, unless I shrink the base a bit him to allow more height. Keep in mind, prices skyrocket the larger you make prints due to the exponential amount of material used, even after manually optimizing the mesh to have the minimum wall thickness at the new size, which is critical for a decent price. Any larger and you would have to split it into multiple prints and put together. But yes, extra work would be required for a larger print, and I'm not sure what will happen now that Hasbro and Shapeways ended the Super Fan Art program.

SFABrianHarris @crossr Thanks so much for the comments and the photo. Those prints came out great and I'm glad you enjoy them. I can't wait to get my own copy of Rarity this Friday. I also did a test print of a massive 6" version too.
