Ridl85 I received this piece yesterday, and I am thoroughly satisfied with the upgrade. I chose to get it in yellow as opposed to matching the orange of the original, so the two are notably different in that aspect, but the the size/shape/etc are nearly identical. The firmer Shapeways plastic feels so much better, and even helps with the transformation when needing something to help in pulling out the head assembly for combined mode.
I did need to some slight sanding on the inside of the inner assembly. As near as I could tell, there were a couple spots on the raised internal spacers where I believe they were originally connected to the sprue; these spots ever so slightly hit some plastic molding on the inside of the head, preventing the antennae from rotating for transformation. After I did a little sanding, everything worked beautifully. I've attached a picture here showing where I needed to sand, circling the spots in red.
Overall, another outstanding piece of work!
