MtBeenak Another shot. If I was doing it again I would use the 1:48 print...closer to true scale. I added a few details, such as the hand rail on top of the water tank and the lift rings, and the boiler and cab hand rails, coal load, and crew members. I also drilled out the headlights and fitted LEDs and lenses.

MtBeenak Thought you might like to see your design work come to life. This is the 1:43 version. It is powered by two Roco diesel shunter mechanisms (known in Australia as the VR F Class) and the cylinders and motion gear from Bachmann HO steamers. I wish my painting was better!
