About Me

I have a background in what could be described as "classic" model making. A B.S. Degree in Industrial Technology with an emphasis in "Model Making" was the start of all this. I took the skills learned and went to work for the film industry in North Carolina, working on such shows as "Super Mario Brothers: The Movie", " The Chronicles of Young Indianan Jones", "Surface", and multiple tv shows and web series. Building Props and models has always been a passion of mine and now I can help you, the discerning collector, obtain that missing piece for your collection. I can even build pieces to augment your already existing models. I work primarily in Sketchup, on a contract basis and my rates start at $20 per hour. A per piece price for a finished product can be negotiated if you so desire, baring in mind that the final print from Shapeways will be at your expense. I'd love to hear what you have in mind regarding that custom piece as well. If you can accurately describe it, draw it on a napkin, or better yet, send 3 view drawings, I'd be happy to create it in 3D for you. Let me know and we'll get started.
