Specifically, we will explore a brand-new feature in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tinkercad.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">free online 3D design software Tinkercad<\/a> that combines 3D printing and circuit design, based on <a href=\"https:\/\/circuits.io\/blog\/electronics-lab-moving-to-tinkercad\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Electronics Lab<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/circuits.io\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">123D Circuit.io<\/a>\u00a0from Autodesk Circuits.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s new is that Tinkercad has integrated some custom circuit components and assemblies that allow you to easily incorporate button-cell batteries, switches, motors, and LEDs. You can also design, code, and run virtual circuits that use resistors, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arduino.cc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arduino boards<\/a>, and more, right from inside Tinkercad. Here&#8217;s the official <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=k5kkkhCKr4g\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Circuits Update Video<\/a> from Tinkercad:<\/p>\n<p class=\"video-responsive\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/k5kkkhCKr4g\" width=\"100%\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>With Tinkercad&#8217;s new circuits feature, you can design 3D-printable objects that fit exactly around LEDs, batteries, or other electronic components.
