I was blown away.<\/p>\n<p>1. A view of the floor. The IPMS show took up two whole basketball courts, both packed with models.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-30781\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/DSC00701-840x473.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>2. I love the suggestion of action on the guy&#8217;s shirt here.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-30784\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/DSC00671-840x473.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>3. I really loved this model of Starlord escaping from a massive monster. The jet trail that holds the ship up stretches\u00a0all the way back under the creature!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-30783\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/DSC00677-840x473.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>5. A spectator admiring the out-of-this-world details on this\u00a0art history-inspired piece.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-30789\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/DSC00620-840x473.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>6. The interior engine parts of this crashed plane were all custom-made, some 3D printed!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-30788\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/DSC00581-840x473.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>7.
