While using traditional jewelry as inspiration, Cady says, \u201cI believe we&#8217;re often given so many rules and processes that viewing something built or created before there was an \u2018official\u2019 way brings me back to the innovation that is inherent in all humans before it was beaten out of us.\u201d Because of this philosophy, she makes a conscious effort to trust her instincts when designing. \u201cOnce I have sketches, I&#8217;ll put on HGTV or Netflix while modeling in CAD &#8212; this helps to keep me distracted enough so that I won&#8217;t second guess my aesthetics,\u201d Cady says of her creative process.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Below are some of Cady\u2019s gorgeous designs and the inspiration behind each.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/02MHDUpCxtpquTDqazI15Q8HGKNwpCRN2PlRDE1DoKDHRMLkcjkQ8ZNpdi5vY9J7FlcL_ot-y9krW_27fIBUaiWYu9Wn3aKAqxzicGh9J_suyPvgMC8VuBKXfnNmGL_P0jprWVhO\" width=\"464\" height=\"331\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\/product\/QNS9YL7ME\/body-language-ring?optionId=60658354\">Body Language Ring<\/a> was inspired by the Queen song and is a part of my &#8220;Dimensionality in Music&#8221; series. The design process began after sculpting with sand while listening to the song, after which I made ring sketches based on the final sand product.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/4wX8KPfdagS2ghijurQ9RB7O1L3qoZPtuH7WvceptEOEkEbOZze5CWVjoPLqmXJdvpVb1pvuVjzdCEFQBdwDZpLGjYUObEhjqDnL_e8-qmorCsj6BAsWlsQ7vHfjAaARX8XYHDKq\" width=\"522\" height=\"287\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\/product\/QJF22QWKQ\/love-song-cufflinks?optionId=58498969\">Love Song Cufflinks<\/a> were inspired by Sara Bareilles&#8217; song.
