Because Mother\u2019s Day is a special day where we recognize that special woman in our life who helped raise us, I caught up briefly with &#8220;Success Mom&#8221; to learn more about her and her son Sammy and her love for 3D printing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/shpws.me\/ooG4\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/ScreenShot2014-05-09at11.00.46AM.png\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>L<span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\">aney and her son Sammy along with <a href=\"http:\/\/shpws.me\/ooG4\" target=\"_blank\">3D printed Success Kid<\/a>designed by Ryan Kittleson.<\/span> <\/em><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 9.5pt;\">1) What does being a mom on Mother&#8217;s Day mean to you?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Sammy is such a great, fun kid. I feel fortunate to be his mother all year long.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>2) How does it feel being the mom that birthed Success Kid?\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>It never stops being super awesome and equally bizarre. But it&#8217;s not like he&#8217;s recognized anywhere. Not so far, anyway.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>3) What does it mean for you to be able to hold the 3D printed Success Kid meme in your hands?\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I fell in love with it from the first moment I saw it on Shapeways.com and was so excited to get it in the mail. Every parent should be so lucky.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>4) What does your son want to be when he grows up? (He is already a success as it is.)\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Right now, at age 7, he wants to be a painter and tattoo artist, like his dad, Justin.
