First of was the Shapeway factory tour on Friday the 28 of march. Later that same week Shapeways took part in the first ever Eindhoven Mini Maker Faire 2014. We were also the proud sponsor of the Makerdays Hackaton.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/evh1.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Shapeways factory tour was a big success. Everyone reacted very enthousiastly and that includes our very own Kevin, Sara and Alan. Of course our future tours will be announced in advance, so make sure you keep an eye on our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\" target=\"_blank\">Website<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/shapeways#\" target=\"_blank\">Instagram<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/shapeways\" target=\"_blank\">Twitter<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Shapeways\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/evh2.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p> In weekend it was the turn for the first ever Eindhoven Mini Makerfaire. Our balloon car was not the only thing that was a big hit. Our stand was visited by young and old. Even the adults were excited to learn about Shapeways. This was our first time and definitely not our last. Up to 2015!!!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/evh3.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Last but not least we like to congratulate the winners of the category 3d printing within the Makerdays Hackathon. They took home the well-deserved prize of the &euro;500 in store credit at Shapeways.
