You get <a href=\"http:\/\/tomorrow-lab.com\/lab25\" target=\"_blank\">24 Share-it Gold<\/a>, a 3D printed Citi Bike key necklace created by the inventive folks at <a href=\"http:\/\/tomorrow-lab.com\/design-lab\" target=\"_blank\">Tomorrow Lab<\/a> and printed by yours truly.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/tomorrow-lab.com\/lab25\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/citi_bike_key.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\nAfter realizing that Citi Bike key fobs could be cracked open, the Tomorrow Lab team set out to transform the key fob into something wearable that housed the RFID antenna. The team worked with Architectural Journalist Laura Raskin to further concept a design that supported the demands of the antenna position.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/tomorrow-lab.com\/lab25\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/citibike_key_comp.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Once their design was complete, they had Shapeways 3D print a prototype in <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\/materials\/steel\">Gold Steel<\/a>. Though it&rsquo;s currently still in prototype phase, 24 Share-it Gold might eventually be available to Citi Bikers throughout New York.
