The results are remarkable, from the gif you can almost hear the sound it would make as it tries futilely to defend a backyard Death Star trench.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/toyland.gizmodo.com\/badass-toy-hacker-converts-hasbros-new-tie-fighter-into-1745238671\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-23164\" alt=\"mehfoezoglwsnh7hnz2w\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/mehfoezoglwsnh7hnz2w.gif\" data-wp-pid=\"23164\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Woodpiece disassembled his non-flying toy, removed its innards and replaced them with 3D printed motor mounts.
