The challenge is to design a 3D Printed car to launch down a ski-slope track at the conference.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; \"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/idsa-launch-day.jpeg\"><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>To enter you have to design a car using their supplied wheels and axle and send the STEP file to Zach Kaplan of Inventables (zach@inventables.com) by August 12. The top 10 designs, based on aesthetics and the utilization of unique 3D printing attributes, will be printed and launched down the ski-jump. The contest will be judged based on best flight, best aesthetics, and most spectacular crash. The top prize is a 3D Printer!
