Whew! What a whirlwind that was! Shapeways was at MakerFaire San Mateo last weekend, and as always, we had an amazing time meeting makers and sharing the excitement of 3D printing. The weather was great, and there was lots to see. Pictures are worth a thousand words so here’s a few…<\/p>\n

We can’t lie, R2D2 was our favorite booth visitor <\/p>\n

We 3D printed our whole back wall using sample designs from Jeff Bare<\/a>, Paul Channing<\/a> and Sheng Chieh Chang<\/a>, as well as showcasing some of your awesome shops and apps…<\/p>\n

The 3D printed panels attracted a lot of attention…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

…while for some, like our littlest fan here, they were a fun playground!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Shapeways spark hung above a table full of community designs…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

…and kids loved sharing the spark on their t-shirts! <\/p>\n

Pete spoke on the Make Live panel with AutoDesk<\/a>, and Ben chatted to Inventables about his favorite tools and how 3D printing will look in the future…<\/span><\/p>\n
