Belgian designer&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\/shops\/retrovirez\">Kurt Drubbel <\/a>recently proposed to his long time girlfriend with a gorgeous 3D printed engagement ring he designed.&nbsp;This unique piece is covered with tiny crystalyzed hearts (visible up close only). The ring was prototyped in alumide and finally printed in polished silver.<\/p>\n<p>Kurt and his&nbsp;fianc\u00e9 have a 2 year old daughter together. He presented the 3D printed ring to her&nbsp;on a ferry on a rough sea at night, between the islands of Malta and Gozo.
