The 3D printing of the Strati took 44 hours, but this 45 second time-lapse video is one you&#8217;re going to have to see to believe:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/daioWlkH7ZI\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Local Motors is global innovation community, like Shapeways, driven to make our collaborative dreams into vehicular realities. They are a resource for sharing ideas, designs, prototyping and miro-manufacturing and given the humble vision of their founders, it&#8217;s no surprise this community created the Strati. Unlike other prototypes, this model is practical and functional.
