The Shapeways Gift Guide 2014 is starting to take shape, so we want to make sure you have all the knowledge and tools you need to make your shop successful during the holiday season. We\u2019ll be sharing more in the months to come, but here are a few tips to get you started:<\/p>\n

Upload New Products<\/strong>
\nGet your newest, greatest, most amazing products up and ready! If you’ve been working on something special, now is the the time to show it off. It seems early, but starting now gives you have ample time to model, iterate, print, and take beautiful photos that we can feature.<\/p>\n

Update Photography<\/strong>
\nSpeaking of photography, there have been a lot of changes to product pages. Make sure your photos are cropped and tagged to the right material. Don\u2019t forget to add new render images<\/a> to products you haven\u2019t had the chance to print yet. And if you’re feeling spunky, feel free to start to upload photos that are more seasonally geared toward fall and winter. Obviously this is not a must, but for seasonally specific products like ornaments, it helps shoppers to see them in context and make them want that product on their very own tree.<\/p>\n

Share With Us<\/strong>
\nOnce you have your products, if you haven’t already, make sure to post your products in “Feature This!<\/a>” To help most, add Holiday2014 in your subject to help filter.<\/p>\n

Tag, tag, tag<\/strong>
\nTag your images with words that will help us find them: ornament, the specific holiday (Christmas, Hanukkah, even New Years), etc. While the Gift Guide will be curated with a lot of non-seasonal products, there will be sections for more holiday focused products that can be filtered by tags.<\/p>\n
