{"id":1707,"date":"2012-10-23T14:03:28","date_gmt":"2012-10-23T14:03:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\/blog\/archives\/1707-instructable-how-to-make-a-3d-printed-mold.html"},"modified":"2022-09-30T15:24:59","modified_gmt":"2022-09-30T19:24:59","slug":"instructable-how-to-make-a-3d-printed-mold","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\/blog\/instructable-how-to-make-a-3d-printed-mold","title":{"rendered":"Instructable: How to Make a 3D Printed Mold"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We see a lot of people in the forums who want to use Shapeways 3D Printing to make molds so they can make batch runs of products in different materials. &nbsp;We have posted previously on the Shapeways blog how others have <a href=\"\/blog\/archives\/1023-How-to-make-Pawfect-soap-molds-with-Shapeways-3D-Printing.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">3D Printed molds for soap<\/a> and Pookas who <a href=\"\/blog\/archives\/1448-How-to-Make-a-stamp-using-Shapeways-3D-Printing-and-Sugru.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">made a stamp using 3D Printing and Suguru<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!-- s9ymdb:28931 --><a href=\"http:\/\/www.instructables.com\/id\/Making-a-3-D-Printed-Mold\/?ALLSTEPS\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"serendipity_image_center\" width=\"670\" height=\"503\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/F6MLAIXH742Z2O2.LARGE_.jpg\" alt=\"How to 3D Print a mold\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There is also a really helpful tutorial on Instructables by Rachel that shows <a href=\"http:\/\/www.instructables.com\/id\/Making-a-3-D-Printed-Mold\/?ALLSTEPS\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">how to 3D model and 3D print a mold<\/a>.
