Eric Vergo graciously offered to design the<br \/>\n puzzle and it has been built to survive minor mishaps.  I had had a<br \/>\ncustom re-shippable box designed to hold the puzzle and the sticker sets<br \/>\n too:<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/twistypuzzles.com\/forum\/viewtopic.php?p=286993#p286993\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"serendipity_image_center\" width=\"670\" height=\"670\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/puzzle_golden_gate_small.png\" title=\"SHapeways 3D Printed Twisty Puzzle\" alt=\"SHapeways 3D Printed Twisty Puzzle\"><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"margin: 0px 0px 0px 40px; border: none; padding: 0px; \">\n<p><em>There are 23 participants that will receive the puzzle.  Each person will be able to keep the puzzle for about 10 days.&nbsp;Members were selected based on a diverse set of criteria.  We tried to<br \/>\nstrike a balance between designers, solvers, collectors, and other<br \/>\ncommunity&nbsp;contributors.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>It will take about 1 year for the puzzle to travel around the world.<br \/>\nAs each participant receives the puzzle they will have the opportunity<br \/>\nto take pictures of it where they live (for example in front of a<br \/>\nlandmark) and post them here in the thread.  They can tell where they live and what draws them to twisty puzzles.  There are 23<br \/>\nsets of Pentultimate stickers that will travel with the Pentultimate.<br \/>\nEach person will sign them and at the end of the project each<br \/>\nparticipant will be given a set of signed stickers.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>This is an amazing community project instigated by <a href=\"http:\/\/twistypuzzles.com\/forum\/viewtopic.php?p=286993#p286993\" target=\"_blank\">Brandon Enright<\/a> that shows how a community can come together&nbsp;across&nbsp;continents over a shared passion, and a little bit of help thanks to 3D Printing.
