It mirrors the charger&#8217;s prongs, to create a convenient way to store the charger cable.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/model\/588831\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shapeways.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/674x501_588831_498616_1342704873.jpg\"><\/a> <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">There is a little story behind how the <a href=\"\/model\/567999\/the-wrap-cable-winder-for-euro-iphone-charger.html\" target=\"_blank\">European<\/a>, then the <a href=\"\/model\/588831\" target=\"_blank\">US version of the Wrap<\/a> came into being.<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"margin: 0px 0px 0px 40px; border: none; padding: 0px; \">\n<p class=\"p1\"><em> I originally designed <a href=\"\/model\/567999\/the-wrap-cable-winder-for-euro-iphone-charger.html\" target=\"_blank\">The Wrap for the European iPhone charger<\/a>, simply trying to get rid of an annoyance I&#8217;d been experiencing myself. Of course, the European iPhone charger is very different from the one in the US and other countries, so on the web page, I put up a note, saying that if I received 100 e-mails requesting a US\/Canadian version of The Wrap, I&#8217;d try to design one. I thought that, at most, a trickle of e-mails over a few months would amount to the 100 e-mails.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em>But then <strong>Cult of Mac<\/strong> wrote this:&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cultofmac.com\/169108\/the-wrap-an-unbelievably-beautiful-and-elegant-way-to-manage-your-iphone-charger\/\"><span class=\"s1\">http:\/\/www.cultofmac.com\/169108\/the-wrap-an-unbelievably-beautiful-and-elegant-way-to-manage-your-iphone-charger\/<\/span><\/a>&#8230; and I had my 100 e-mails within 24 hours. I had to get to work, and through the miracle of <a href=\"\/\" target=\"_blank\">Shapeways 3d printing<\/a>, the first US version was ready 19 days later.
