Material of the Month: PA12

HP’s Multi Jet Fusion Plastic PA12 (formerly named “Professional Plastic”) has excellent mechanical properties and can be dyed black for a sleek finish, making it an ideal choice for a wide range of applications.

Since we now offer two Multi Jet Fusion Plastic materials (see new material announcement), PA12 has reclaimed its industrial name to clearly differentiate it from PA12 Glass Beads, which contains 40% glass beads for added stiffness and durability. Both materials use the Multi Jet Fusion technology, a professional-grade 3D printing process that creates high-quality, end-use products.

Ideal Applications Include:

  • Drones
  • Fixtures
