Shapeways + MAD internship for ‘Out of Hand/HANDS ON’

This is your chance! Apply for the internship with Shapeways and Museum of Arts and Design exhibition “Out Of Hand: Materializing the Postdigital“.

The part time positions will be at MAD+Shapeways Out Of Hand: Hands On educational and interactive space starting mid-October and continuing for up to 6 months. The exhibition will be accompanied by an active roster of public educational programs, from workshops and lectures to curriculum-based programs serving K-12 students, as well as in-gallery interactive stations all focused around the creative possibilities of 3D printing!

The role will include educating visitors to the exhibition about 3D printing materials and processes in the context of art, design and architecture.  You will also assist visitors with interactive devices such as 3D applications and 3D scanners.

Required Skills:
-3D modeling skills (Autocad, Rhino, Blender, Maya, etc.)
-3D printing experience, preferably with Shapeways
-interest in arts and design education a plus
