In the past we’ve worked with our friends over at Skillshare to create videos that show you the ins and outs of 3D modeling. Today we’re excited to announce the launch of another series of videos that anyone can use to learn about running a small business on Shapeways.

I have some 3d printed sculptures. I would like to offer them for sale with color and material options PLUS some customization. I want to have the client consult with me then place an order for a product of mine which is being made specially for that person. What is the best way for me to communicate with the Shapeways team? How can I be assured that the correct file will be used o print the product?

Perhaps the “co-creators” option will do – it lets people upload images or supply their own texts etc. for decorating a basic design, and you will then get that information with a deadline to upload the customized model for that particular order. See entry “Customization: Make this model customizable” on the Details tab of your models
