Hey Shapies – we’re going to be hosting a handful of exciting events on the West Coast all of next week, and we’d love to see you if you’re in the area!

Check out where to find us below.

Tuesday May 14th and Wednesday May 15th: Make Hardware Innovation Workshop

Pete, our CEO, will be speaking at the Make Hardware Innovation Workshop on Wednesday. The panel is focused on the business of making, designed specifically for makers in business trying to figure out how to navigate the ecosystem.

Thursday May 16th:  3D Printing: Is the law ready for the future?

Join us at Stanford University for a discussion covering 3D printing and copyright issues on Thursday, May 16th from 12:50-2pm. The panel will be followed by an hour long 3D demo. The event is free, but RSVP is required. You can also watch along at home, as the event will be streamed.

Friday, May 17th: 3D Printing Meetup with Shapeways, AutoDesk and MakerBot at TechShop

Join us as we team up with AutoDesk and MakerBot at TechShop to grab a beer and talk all things 3D printing. Bring your 3D prints to share, and come see a sneak peek of what will be on display at Maker Faire the next day. The event will be at the San Francisco TechShop Annex from 6-8pm. RSVP on

Saturday May 18th and Sunday May 19th: MakerFaire San Mateo

Come and see us at Maker Faire on the weekend! We will be located in the 3D Printing section of the expo hall and can’t wait to be back.
