Have a love of quilting? Enjoy the nostalgia of America Folk Art? Try this American classic quilt block design: Churn Dash. The church dash is a very old design dating between 1800 and 1850. It name comes from the resemblance of a rectangular perimeter and triangle corners to that of a butter churn. The center open square is to represent the stick of butter or “dash”. There are many different variations/adaptations of the churn dash, but this is the original classic pattern. Enjoy these blocks you can hang for earrings! Ear wires not included.
