We want to show (and give) you the money! Make sure your account is set up to receive payments. When all the information is complete, you will be eligible for payments in the next pay cycle once you’ve earned $30 or more in markup.
Setting Up Your Account
To make sure you are eligible for these payments, complete all information requested on the Shop Settings Page under Getting Paid.
- Billing Address
This is the same address that’s used when you check out on Shapeways and keeps us informed about VAT treatment and other tax implications.
- PayPal Email
This is the Paypal account that we will use to pay you your profits. If you don't have a Paypal account, create one now! IF YOU DON’T HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT THAT CAN RECEIVE FUNDS FROM THE UNITED STATES YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR MARKUP.
Your billing address and PayPal email are the only components of payment eligibility.
What happens if my information is not complete?
Each month when we pay out shop owners, we check to make sure your information is complete and you’re eligible for payments. If your account is not set up for payments, we will defer payments until the next payment cycle when the information is complete.
If your account has accrued a lot of outstanding payments because the payment information is not complete, we will contact you. In rare and extreme cases that this is the case, we may need to deactivate the shop until the information is complete. If your account is linked to a PayPal account that cannot receive funds from the United States we will not hold or pay your markup.
